Hey there! I'm really glad you came to visit my portfolio. I'll tell you a little bit about myself!

I grew up in Brevard, North Carolina, a town known for its beautiful forests and a surprising art scene. Storytelling has always been a massive, important part of my life; I've been scribbling down words since I could hold a pen, and my childhood was filled with all kinds of musical instruments and artistic endeavors. In high school I was a theatre nerd, and proud - but I knew I couldn't live in my theater forever. I wanted to get outside and see the world, so I decided that I would go off the path I had laid out for myself and tiptoe into the world of film. I quickly fell head over heels and knew it was a done deal. After graduating from high school, I packed my bags and moved to Wilmington to be a film major at UNCW. This was the most terrifying, ridiculous thing I had ever done in my life (it still is), but I'm growing more every day. At UNCW, I have had the incredible opportunity to work in film in many different ways: I had the great opportunity to edit and be on the creative team for Dub Dares, a YouTube show produced by TealTV, UNCW's student-led production network, and I worked as a PA on a student feature film. I also have been continuing to expand my skills as a photographer, especially in wildlife and nature photography.
